Small Business Saturday (SBS) is an American Express Shop Small campaign that encourages card members to shop locally at participating small businesses on Nov 25, 2017. In promoting this campaign, select businesses were featured within a quarterly updated module on the American Express online banking dashboard account. This was available to all card members.

Shop Small helps small business owners to attract more customers by providing customizable marketing materials for their brick and mortar store, e-commerce shop, and social media.

Part 1: To design an engaging and interactive marketing module (every quarter) that will showcase a card member’s Shop Small activity and personalized recommendations based on their purchasing history/habits. The examples shown below were specific to the Small Business Saturday event.
Part 2: Design a comprehensive dashboard for card members to track their spend and discover Shop Small businesses (marketing module appears here as well). This feature is accessed through AmericanExpress.com in the card member’s account. 

Challenge

There were many business requirements and limitations instilled on this project and therefore created little room for flexibility in design. It was challenging to align, push back, and meet every stakeholder's needs - while ensuring that our end users were always top of mind. I was also given a lot of information/details to fit in a very specific dimension so that it can be displayed in the American Express account dashboard.
