OBJECTIVE

To design the user experience of a recruiting platform for both consumers and internal employees (the recruiters). Consumers will have the ability to build their own profile that will match them with potential jobs and track their job search process. Recruiters will be able to browse through their job inventory to connect users with opportunities.

Challenge

CPI Search only had an internal platform they were using to match candidates with jobs, but the designs were never completely finished. There was no tool created for consumers to find jobs or keep track of their progress, so recruiters had to manually email candidates with jobs they found internally. The experience was complex and contained a lot of information that needed organization and restructuring.

how it works

CPI Job Search allow candidates to track their job search through a dashboard design. Within this dashboard design, users can see an overview of their progression, create their own profile, search for jobs, organize their calendar, exchange messages, and customize their settings.

To search for jobs, candidates are paired with a recruiter that will curate a selection of jobs they think will best match the candidate. Within ‘Discover Jobs’, candidates will be able to see one job post at a time and either Pass, Save, or Apply as an action. They can easily track which jobs they’ve passed, saved, or applied to by toggling between the tab views. Candidates also have the flexibility to discover new jobs by using the search function at top to browse through the inventory.

CPI Job Matcher was redesigned to give recruiters more control over finding and organizing the best jobs that match their candidates. The new architecture and filtering functions allow recruiters to organize their candidate’s information, narrow their search better, and efficiently add and/or edit job posts and company information.
